Devolver E3 2021 Press Conference- How To Watch

E3 2021 is coming up very soon, and arguably already started with Summer Game Fest. One publisher holding its own show is Devolver Digital, the eccentric company focused on releasing what may otherwise be considered “indie” games. Coming on June 12, the stream will no doubt feature some game announcements, but Devolver’s shows are a little bit less… sensical than those from other companies. That certainly appears to be the case based on a teaser trailer of sorts that Devolver has released, dubbed the Devolver MaxPass+ Prologue. You can watch the video below, but it teases that the MaxPass+ will be revealed during Saturday’s event as “the future of monetization as a service,” whatever that means. We expect at least a few deaths.

Devolver Press Conference Stream Time

In May, Devolver put out a vague tweet stating that it had made plans for E3 and that it would do something “probably” on June 12. June 12 is the first day of E3 2021’s digital show, and we now know that Devolver’s presentation will officially take place at 1:30 PM PT / 4:30 PM PT on that day. It’s not officially part of E3 itself.

  • 1:30 PM PT
  • 4:30 PM PT
  • 9:30 PM BST
  • 6:30 AM AET on June 13.

This is a familiar Devolver move; back in pre-pandemic times when E3 was held in-person, the company would set up an area in a parking lot across from the LA Convention Center. Devolver’s partner developers would show off their in-progress games to media, generally in camper trailers.

Devolver has also announced that it will be participating in the Geoff Keighley-hosted Summer Games Fest, which is scheduled for June 10. There, the company will reveal four new games.

Borderlands Movie Clip Shows Shows Lilith's Team In Action

This summer, Eli Roth is bringing Borderlands to the big screen with Cate Blanchett as Lilith, the leader of a group of outlaws who are on a mission that may determine the fate of the universe. While the film is still two months away, a new clip features the team in hot water, thanks to Claptrap. Jack Black lends his voice to Claptrap in the film, and he nearly manages to get the team killed in this preview because he just had to expel some lead from his robot body in the loudest and most obnoxious way possible Come from South African Online Casinos .

The tone of this scene seems a lot like Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy. It also appears to be embracing comedy first, and action second. Additionally, it shows off some of the team dynamics. For example, only Tiny Tina laughs at Claptrap’s antics, while Dr. Tannis annoys Roland by stealing a gun from him in the middle of a battle. This gro…

Square Enix Could Cut Off Game Services For Harassers With New Policy

To counter fan harassment of its employees, from voice actors to developers, Square Enix has implemented a new Group Customer Harassment Policy. The new policy states and defines “customer harassment” of employees whether it’s through violence, defamation, intimidation, or other means. Failing to respect these policies can result in Square Enix rescinding players’ abilities to use its products.

“Such actions do not only prevent our employees and partners from engaging in their work with a sense of security but also causes disruptions to other customers,” the policy reads. “Square Enix will not tolerate harassment and will take action as necessary.”

The policy does not give examples of harassment, but it’s become clear within the gaming community why this inevitably had to be done: toxic fan behavior.

It’s something the company has been dealing with for years. Final Fantasy 14 producer and director Naoki Yoshida has addressed abuse against the game’s developers on m…

Concord To Remain A Part Of Amazon's New Video Game TV Show Despite Shutdown

It’s fair to say that Concord is one of the biggest flops in recent gaming history, with the hero shooter shutting down after just two weeks of existence. However, despite that, it seems that the game will live on through a side story in Prime Video’s video-game-themed TV show Secret Level, which releases on December 10.

Announced back in August during Gamescom, Secret Level is an anthology series that will feature animated short stories set in the world of various games and gaming franchises, including God of War, The Outer Worlds 2, and Warhammer 40K. Concord was announced as one of the 15 franchises involved in the project, and a source told IGN that the game will remain a part of Secret Level.

Secret Level will also feature new stories in franchises that haven’t seen a fresh entry in some time, such as Mega Man and Unreal Tournament. A brief moment in the trailer led us to think that Keanu Reeves might star in the Armored Core episode, but that ha…

Call Of Duty- Vanguard Does Not Feature Red Dead's Arthur Morgan Actor, Despite That Photo

Actor Roger Clark, who plays Arthur Morgan in Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption II, has responded to a rumor that he’ll appear in the next Call of Duty game.

In late July, Clark posted a photo of himself from an upcoming project on Instagram that showed the actor dressed in period clothing and wielding a rifle. Based on this image, people wondered if he was teasing an appearance in the next Call of Duty game, which is believed to be the World War II title Vanguard from Sledgehammer Games. But the tease is for an upcoming World War I horror movie, not any game.

“No guys, this was for an upcoming feature. A WWI horror,” he said. “In the post I said how nice it was to get in front of the camera again. Gaming studios don’t usually go for filming on set, in costume. Honored you’re interested in me do something like that though, cheers.”

Gears Of War Needs A God Of War-Like Reboot, Creator Says

Cliff Bleszinski, who created and designed the Gears of War series at Epic Games before departing the company, has said the franchise–which is now owned by Microsoft–needs “a little bit of a reboot.” Speaking to ComicBook, Bleszinski said the Gears franchise needs a reboot similar to what God of War had recently with its 2018 game.

Bleszinski went on to say that Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has his phone number and he is “happy to consult” on any future Gears game. Bleszinski went on to say the Gears franchise remains “near and dear” to his heart, and he still goes back and watches scenes from the series on YouTube every so often. He said he’s proud of what he helped to create with the popular series.

“Yeah, I like money. Who doesn’t? I like to eat prime rib steak and sushi sometimes, but you just want to know that your work makes [an impact]. Reading the comments on those cut scenes from Gears of War when Dom dies, people are like, ‘I had to put the controller do…
